Hey everyone! 👋 I'm diving deeper into understanding the nuances of Enneagram Type 1 with a 2 wing (1w2) and would love to hear from those who identify with this type, or have insights on it. How does the blend of the reformer's idealism (Type 1) with the helper's caring nature (Type 2) manifest in your daily life, work, and relationships? 🧐 Specifically: 1. How do you balance your drive for perfection and your desire to assist others? 2. In what ways does the 2 wing influence your internal critic commonly associated with Type 1? 3. Any tips on how to manage the stress that comes from trying to achieve high standards while also being there for others? Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice! 🙏 #Enneagram #Type1w2 #SelfAwareness #PersonalityInsights

Hey everyone! 🌟 I’ve been delving into the Enneagram recently and was curious about Type 1 with a 2 wing (1w2). I understand Type 1 is often called "The Reformer" or "The Perfectionist," and focuses on principles, ethics, and improvement. With the 2 wing, sometimes referred to as "The Helper," there seems to be an added layer of warmth and a desire to support others. 🌱 For those who identify as 1w2 or know someone who does, how do you see the blend of these traits in daily life? How does the need for perfection and order from Type 1 interact with the compassionate, people-oriented focus of the Type 2 wing? Are there particular challenges or strengths you’ve noticed with this combination? 🤔 Any insights or personal experiences would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance! 🙏 #Enneagram #1w2 #TypeOne #Personality #SelfGrowth

Hi everyone! 👋 I’ve recently discovered that I’m a Type 1 with a 2 wing (1w2), and I’m curious to learn more about this specific subtype. From what I understand, Type 1s are often driven by a strong sense of integrity and a desire for improvement, while the 2 wing adds a nurturing, helpful aspect. How do you all find balance between these two motivations? 🤔 Are there particular challenges or advantages that come with being a 1w2? How do you ensure that your desire to be helpful doesn’t lead to excessive self-criticism or burnout? If you have any personal experiences or strategies for navigating life as a 1w2, I’d love to hear your insights! Looking forward to your thoughts! 😊 #Enneagram #1w2 #Type1 #Wing2 #PersonalGrowth

Hey everyone! 🌟 I'm curious about the dynamic of being a Type 1w2. As a Type 1, the moral perfectionist, we're known for our love of order, principles, and continuous self-improvement. Adding the 2 wing, the helper, into the mix, I imagine there's a unique blend of striving for personal standards while also wanting to support and care for others. For those of you who identify as 1w2, how does this combination play out in your daily life? How do you balance the inner critic and desire for perfection with the empathy and need to be of service? Do you find that the 2 wing softens the rigidity of Type 1, or does it sometimes create conflict when trying to meet your own high standards while helping others? I've been feeling a bit torn between upholding my principles and wanting to be more accommodating and helpful, and I'd love to hear your experiences and advice! Thanks in advance! 💬 #Enneagram #Type1w2 #SelfImprovement #HelpingOthers

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm curious about the Enneagram Type 1w2 combination. As I understand, Type 1s are known as "The Reformers" who strive for perfection and hold themselves to high moral standards. On the other hand, the Type 2 wing adds a helpful and people-oriented dimension. For those who identify as 1w2, how does this wing influence your daily life and decision-making process? Do you find the desire to help others sometimes conflicts with your personal need for perfection? Also, how do you strike a balance between being critical of yourself and being compassionate towards others? Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! 🙌 Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! 👋 I'm in a process of exploring my Enneagram type; currently, I'm leaning towards Type 1 with a 2 wing, or 1w2. I'm drawn to the idea of wanting to make the world a better place and my inherent need to be helpful and supportive. However, I also relate to the perfectionism and critical mindset of the Type 1.❓ Do any 1w2's on here experience a constant tension between these two sides? If so, how do you navigate this? Would love to hear more about your daily experiences, strengths and challenges related to being a 1w2. Any advice for a potential fellow 1w2 would greatly be appreciated! 🙏✨ Thanks a lot and have a great day! 😀

Hello Enneagram community! 💫 I've recently identified myself as a Type 1 with a Two Wing (1w2). From my understanding, Type 1s are known to be perfectionists and ethical, always striving for what’s right, while Type 2s are people-oriented and driven by the desire to be loved and appreciated. I would love to know more about the dynamics of this particular type and wing combination. How does a 1w2 typically respond emotionally when faced with conflict? How does the “helper” aspect of a 2 wing shape the perfectionism of a Type 1? Any shared resources, experiences or insights are more than welcome! ☺️👍 #Enneagram1w2

Hi everyone! 👋 I've recently been exploring more about my Enneagram type and found out that I'm a Type 1, particularly 1w2. As a 1w2, I'm noticing that my drive for perfection is often mingled with a deep desire to help others. We are known to be "the advocate" or sometimes even as "the priest." Are there any other 1w2's around here who can share their personal experiences? Specifically, I'm interested to know how your wing 2 influences your primary type 1 in day-to-day activities, personal relationships, and career choices? Moreover, I'd love some suggestions on how to manage the inner critic 🔍 that comes with being a Type 1 while not curbing the empathetic, supportive side of the Wing 2. Really looking forward to your insights 🌟 Thank you! 🙏
