Hey, Enneagram community! 👋 I've been diving deep into Enneagram types recently and I'm particularly intrigued by Type 6 with a 5 wing (6w5). I'm curious to hear from people who identify as 6w5, or those who know 6w5 individuals well. What does this combination of type and wing feel like for you? How do the characteristics and attributes of the 6 and 5 types merge to create unique behaviors, responses, values, etc.? What does the "lifelong journey and personal growth" look like for a 6w5? Really keen to understand this better. Thanks in advance for your insights! 😊

Hi Everyone 👋🏼, I've been diving into the enneagram recently and I have a few questions to better understand the Enneagram Type 6 with a 5 wing (6w5) 🧐. What are common characteristics or behaviors of a 6w5? 🤔 I'm also wondering if the wing has a significant influence over the core type, or if the core type truly dominates. Do any 6w5s out there find themselves leaning towards the 5 traits a bit more than they expected? Lastly, how does being a 6w5 influence your relationships, both personally and professionally? I'm looking to gain a more rounded view of how 6w5s navigate in the world. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! 💕 #Enneagram6w5

Hello everyone! 👋 I've been exploring the concept of Enneagram Type and Wing and I'm identifying very strongly with Type 6, but more specifically 6w5.🔍 The relationship between the core type and the wing fascinates me. I was wondering if anyone else here identifies as a 6w5 and could share their experiences or insights about this particular type-wing combination. How do you find the "5" wing influences your type 6 behavior, anxieties or motivations? How do you balance the need for security (6) with the desire for independence (5)? Do you find any common misconceptions about 6w5s? I believe I would especially benefit from your personal stories and experiences related to this 🙏. Discussing this with fellow 6w5s could give me greater understanding of myself. Thanks for reading, looking forward to your replies! 😊

Hello Everyone👋! I'm a curious learner about the Enneagram system, particularly focusing on the Enneagram Type 6w5. Although I've been trying to absorb as much information as possible, some aspects still seem a bit cloudy🌥️. I understand that the 6w5 is often described as 'The Guardian' with a primal fear of insecurity, but can anyone share some practical examples of how these fears might manifest in their daily lives, relationships or career choices? Also, how does this fear relate to the defining attribute of their 'wing 5' - which seems to be the seeker of knowledge and autonomy? Lastly, how does a 6w5 go about finding balance and personal growth within their life ❤️? I'd love to hear from both 6w5s and those who have close relationships with this type. Your personal experiences and insights would be extremely valuable🙏! Thank you in advance.

Subject: Understanding the Intricacies of Enneagram Type 6w5 Hi all! 🙋‍♂️ I've recently discovered I'm a Type 6 who leans heavily on a 5 wing (6w5). It's been fascinating to explore this, but I have tons of questions still.😅 I understand how we're often security-oriented and we value knowledge, but I'm struggling to process how these two aspects intermingle and manifest in daily life. Could someone kindly illustrate with examples or explain more about the nuances? Also, how does a 6w5 behave under stress vs. during periods of growth? How may our personalities differ from a 6w7? Lastly, any advice on how 6w5 can cope with their fear and anxiety better? Your insightful responses will be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance! 😊

Hello everyone 👋 As a 6w5 on the Enneagram, I'm curious to learn more about others who identify with this type and wing. I'm quite security oriented (classic type 6, right? 😅) and I take comfort in practicality and knowledge (my 5 wing coming in strong). Has anyone else found particular challenges or strengths associated with this combination? I'd love to hear your experiences — maybe we can learn from each other! Any tips or advice on dealing with stress and anxiety that often comes along with being a 6w5 would be especially appreciated. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Hi Everyone 👋, I'm fairly new to Enneagram and I've been doing quite a bit of research on my type, which is a 6, with a 5 wing (6w5). I've read that this type is often characterized as the "Defender," combining the loyalty of Sixes and the analytical mind of Fives. I would love to hear from anyone who also identifies as a 6w5. Could you share your experiences and how your traits have manifested in your daily life? For example, how do you manage your loyalty, desire for security, and analytical mind? Do you sometimes feel conflicted between your need for security and your drive for independence? I'm also curious about how these traits have influenced your personal relationships and career choices. I'd appreciate hearing from other enneagram types as well! How do you perceive the 6w5s in your life? Appreciate all insight. Thanks in advance! 🙏🌈🧩

Hello everyone 👋😊, I've been engaging in some deep self-reflection and research about the Enneagram personality types. I recently discovered that I'm possibly a Type 6 with a 5 wing (6w5). I've researched about the main characteristic tendencies i.e. loyal, reliable, anxious, and analytical, as well as the hunger for knowledge and desire for security that comes with this pairing. However, I'm still a bit uncertain about some aspects. Can anyone who identifies as a 6w5 or understands this type better extend some advice on how to confirm this accurately? What unique challenges do you face, and how do you go about handling this combination? Also, I'd love to learn about effective growth/development areas for this subtype. References to enlightening literature on this aspect would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys. Here's to learning 📚🙂!

Hello everyone! 👋 I've been studying the Enneagram system for quite some time now, especially my dominant type, which is type 6 (the Loyalist). I've found that it resonates deeply with my personality, especially in terms of my loyalty and commitment to my friends and family. I feel that I'm a 6w5 – that is, a type 6 with a 5 wing. However, 🤔 I'm a bit confused about how the presence of the 5 wing specifically impacts and characterizes type 6. How does it affect the classic traits associated with type 6? Additionally, what are some common behaviors, attitudes, or challenges that 6w5's typically exhibit? I greatly appreciate 🙏 any insights or resources you all might share regarding this matter. Thank you! 😉
