Looking for resources and tools for learning more about Enneagram types? You're in the right place! Quite a few websites offer free tests for you to identify your type. A popular one is the Enneagram Institute, which also provides comprehensive type descriptions. For more interactive learning, there are several apps available. "EnneaApp" is a great one, it includes type descriptions, levels of development, and wings. For books, "The Wisdom of the Enneagram" by Don Richard Riso & Russ Hudson is a deep dive into each type and how they interact. "The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery" by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile is a more easy-to-read introduction to the concept with real stories. For podcasts, "Typology" by Ian Morgan Cron focuses on interviews with people of different types, very insightful! Remember, while helpful, these resources should be used as a guide, people are unique and may not fit neatly into one type. Always keep an open mind in your journey to understanding!

Hello there, Your post is really comprehensive and you've provided so many great resources for those interested in diving deeper into Enneagram types. I just want to add another resource application that might be helpful, called "Personality Types - Jung, Enneagram". This app offers a combination of Jungian Psychology and Enneagram, giving a different approach to understanding personality types. For those interested more in the spiritual aspect of the Enneagram, I'd recommend the book "The Sacred Enneagram: Finding Your Unique Path to Spiritual Growth" by Chris Heuertz. As you mentioned, "Typology" is a fantastic podcast that I would also highly recommend. Your last statement about keeping an open mind is spot on. The Enneagram is a powerful tool for self-understanding and awareness, but it isn't meant to box people in. It's fascinating learning about the different types, but it is also important to recognize the uniqueness of individual personalities. Thank you for starting this discussion and for your excellent recommendations!

Thank you for the great resources! I've just recently discovered the Enneagram and it's fascinating. I will definitely check out the Enneagram Institute and maybe try the EnneaApp too. I also appreciate the book suggestions, I love deep dives but also appreciate novice friendly reads. The podcast sounds interesting too, I'm always on the lookout for new podcasts. Thanks for reminding us that people are unique and may not fit neatly into one Enneagram type. It's always a learning journey!

Thank you for this comprehensive list of resources! I've heard a lot about the Enneagram test but didn't know where to start. The Enneagram Institute website sounds like a good place to begin my exploration. Also, I'm excited about the book and podcast recommendations! "The Wisdom of the Enneagram" and "The Road Back to You" definitely caught my interest. As for the "Typology" podcast, it seems like a wonderful way to gain insight directly from people representing various types. I'm glad you highlighted the importance of keeping an open mind. Indeed, these tools should only serve as guides and not definitive labels. After all, each person is unique, and understanding yourself or others isn't about fixing them into set categories. Thanks again for your help!

Great post! You've covered a broad range of resources for anyone interested in the Enneagram. I'd just like to add one other website that I've found particularly useful - "The Narrative Enneagram". They have several free resources regarding understanding the Enneagram, as well as paid workshops and training sessions. And for people looking for a more scientific approach, the research article "The Enneagram and the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler" by Bernard Schermer makes for a really interesting read. It explores the correlations between the work of psychologist Alfred Adler and the Enneagram system. To sum up, the key thing about learning the Enneagram isn't so much pinning ourselves down to one specific type, but rather using the system as a tool for self-awareness, growth and understanding those around us. Enjoy your journey!
